Strategy and policy
development
We initiate
and implement sound creative national, regional and
sub-regional strategy and policy in regard to human rights
equality and diversity policy, community regeneration and
cohesion, and conflict resolution.
We
undertake applied research in areas such as ethnic and race
relations, social inclusion, political and violent
extremism, diversity management, race equality promotion,
the quality of service provision provided for black and
minority ethnic communities, and the processes of
institutional change necessary to eliminate racism and bring
about racial and other equality. Our research reports
include evidence-based recommendations.
We assist
organisations to build their capacity to provide equitable
high quality services. We also set up new delivery agencies
in areas currently without equality or human rights
facilities.
We run
specialist training programmes for example, induction into
race equality work and ethnic conflict analysis, and we can
provide bespoke training programmes based on needs analyses.
We market
and provide tailor-made race equality solutions for public
authorities, private companies and voluntary bodies seeking
to realise equality goals, or comply with their statutory
obligations. We specialise in providing consultancy,
research and development, and training in the management of
equality and diversity.
We
can independently investigate (at the behest of
management) complaints of misconduct, unfairness,
discrimination and harassment.
