Quality Assurance
  • We help RECs with quality assurance and the quality mark.
  • We produce policies, procedures and other documents relating to quality areas: e.g. user-centred services, training and volunteering, to assist race equality organisations in implementing quality standards.

  • We provide advice and support for race equality organisations on conducting annual reviews and planning work programmes.

  • We advise on complaints procedures and undertake external investigation of complaints for voluntary, public and private organisations as requested.

  • We represent RECs in discussions with the Equality and Human Rights Commission on performance-related funding methodology and grant making.

  • We have the knowledge and experience to develop effective monitoring systems and performance measures and to contribute to quality assurance.
