Stephanie Lehnert
LLB (Hons) LLM (European Legal Studies)
Stephanie Lehnert is currently working as a
postgraduate teaching fellow at the University of
Warwick where she is studying for an MPhil/PhD on
the implementation of the European Race Directive.
She acts as a legal consultant to REWM in the fields
of discrimination and human rights law, European
race relations, and legal casework. From 2004 to
2006, she worked for the West Midlands
Discrimination Advisory Service (WMDAS) as a legal
caseworker and administrator. |
Stephanie
went to school in both Germany and England and is a native
speaker of German and English, while also fluent in French,
and has basic Spanish. She did her GCE A Levels at York
Sixth Form College followed by the Abitur at the Valentin
Heider Gymnasium Lindau, Germany. She gained her LLB (Hons)
in European Legal Studies with French at the University of
Lancaster, spending part of the course on the Erasmus
programme at the Universite Jean Moulin Lyon in France. She
went on to gain an LLM in European Legal Studies with
distinction at the University of Durham.
Stephanie
makes an invaluable contribution to the REWM skills base,
giving us unrivalled insight into European race relations
law and practices and access to German and French research
in this field.
